Çivril, born in the village of Çivril in the Denizli region of Turkey, was imported as a young pup. She did not grow into an Anatolian-sized dog, but stayed smaller than a border collie. Although she had good hips, her size eliminated her from Shepherds Rest breeding stock. "Chivi" now lives in Oregon guarding goats, chickens, cats, bunnies, her family, and keeping deer out of the family vineyard and orchard. She is still extremely small, and still smiles and barks a lot, but is dearly loved.
