Dürbün is from the Ankara region in Turkey. His name means binoculars. He was named for his very keen ability to notice every little thing going on around him! He is gentle, very sweet, submissive with other dogs, shy around strangers, suspicious of new things, and also very bright. He is the only adult male that can get along with other adult males.

Dürbün went to work as soon as he arrived in Oregon and has been working here 24/7 ever since. He guards Oberhasli does and their kids, mainly, but has also been with the weaned Oberhasli and Boer doelings and also with the bucklings.
